Not Trying Hard Enough (Anyone)

"And that would make the answer....." Sasha faded waiting for Tyler to respond

"Uh... G!" He joked

"Now, you're just being ridiculous" She replied closing the math book...

The two good friend sat in the library. Sasha attempting to help Tyler study for his Math test coming up, but she was epically failing.

"Dude! I'm never going to need math in life... Math... Music... Explain the connection please" he replied

"I didn't say there was a connection but that cute face won't get you that far, we women like a guy with... what's the word... a BRAIN!" Sasha chuckled

"I'm not an idiot. I just don't feel like doing this. I'll just go with the flow"

"And fail? You do that!" She smirked getting up

"So you're just going to leave me?" he replied

"I'll be back, I have to copy some papers" Sasha replied before walking away

Tyler sighed and ran his fingers through his hair before looking at the person on the other side of the table. From where he was he was able to take a look at one of their books...

"Statistics? Ouch!" he said "And I thought Calculus was hard" he replied to them

"You need a lot of math for nursing, unfortunately." Ariana chuckled, "If you pay attention, it's not hard. But, sometimes with these teachers, I just can't."

"I understand completely. I'm studying for a test I have tomorrow, now... or I was suppose to be" he chuckled

"Ugh, I have work overload. You just have to let loose sometimes, the joys of college."

"I agree completely. Like right now my mind is saying 'fuck this' "

"College is the best time of your life, why waste it studying?" She joked

"Now, you're speaking my language" he chuckled

"I'm Ariana." She introduced with a chuckle

"Oh right! Tyler!" he smiled

"Nice to meet you." She smiled

"Likewise" he nodded "So what class are you? Sophomore? Junior?"

"Uh, Freshman." She chuckled

"Really? That's cool. Me too"

"Awesome." She smiled

"Finish! You ready?" Sasha said walking back over to Tyler

"Sash, this is my friend Ariana" Tyler smiled

"Hi." Ariana smiled

"What's up?" Sasha bluntly said before turning to Tyler "Ready?"

"No, I'm going to stay here with Ariana" he said

Sasha rolled her eyes "Whatever" she said before leaving

Ariana turned to Tyler, "What's her deal?"

"She's a jerk" he joked "No, but she's not a 'peoples person' I guess. Which is what I don't get because she studies theater, a major where you have to interact with people"

"She wouldn't make a good nurse, then either." She chuckled a bit

"Nope, that is definitely not the job for her" he chuckled

"That's because it's going to be me job."

(That's okay, slow replies because my wifi won't be back until tomorrow so I have to use my phone )

"So, why do you want to be a nurse?"

"Well, I've always enjoyed taking care of people, and I'm rather friendly." She shrugged

"Good to know, I'll call you the next time I wake up with a massive hangover" he chuckled
