Out Late at Night (Ariana)

Though it was pushing 1 am, Tyler was restless. I guess because he slept all day, he should have known he would be up all night. He hadn’t seen Ariana since earlier that week, and he kind of missed her. He threw on a jacket and his boots before grabbing his guitar, his plans were to go sit on the front lawn and play a little music, but not before attempting to invite Ariana...

Tyler pulled out his cell phone and sent her a texted: “Please tell me you’re still up... I can’t sleep”

Ariana had fallen asleep sitting up with a textbook on her lap. She was cramming all week for a test she had soon. She heard her cellphone ring and nearly fell out of bed as she tried to look for it. Ariana texted back:

"Well, I am now, lol."

Tyler grinned and walked out of his dorm. A couple of minutes later he arrived at the front lawn

Ariana pulled on a hoodie and some sweatpants before walking to the lawn where Tyler was.

Tyler smiled when he saw the redhead in the distance
"There's my sleepover buddy, who has been absent lately" he smiled getting up and hugging her

Ariana smiled and hugged him back, "I've been busy with classes."

"Excuses!" he jokingly replied "I was starting to applications for new cuddle buddies"

"No! You're so mean!" She pouted jokingly

"Don't worry, none of them had your criteria" he chuckled

"I'm the one and only." she grinned

"Exactly" he nodded, sitting down in the grass "So what class is the cause of your disappearance?"

"Spanish." She made a face, "I have to speak fluently by the time I graduate."

"Why?" he asked

"So I can treat people who only speak Spanish and no English. In my opinion, I think they should learn to speak English if they're going to be here in America."

"I agree" he nodded "But, you have to do what you have to do you know?"

"I know." She sighed, "So, why can't you sleep?"

"I slept my entire day away"

"That wasn't smart." She chuckled

"I know, but now I get to finish this song I've been working on for my creative writing class" he said pointing to his guitar

"Ooh, a song." She smiled, "Can I hear it?"

"Sure, but it's not finished yet" he said strapping on his guitar "It's called Not a Love Song"
